At the risk of exposing my true nerdy self, I can’t wait to get my hands on the Katharine Hepburn postage stamps! They come out on May 12th, Hepburn’s birthday, as part of the U.S. Postal Service’s “Legends of Hollywood” series. Doesn’t she look fabulous? I’m convinced that, had I been born eighty years earlier, we would have been great friends…

Oh, I had no idea about this series. Yes, this image is lovely of Katharine. I can see why you would want it, although I’d probably never want to use them! =)

Cashon & Co — I think it’s Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca, but you should still get the stamps because he’s probably a Hepburn fan as well : )
Simply Luxurious — I know! I’ll probably use some and save some! xo
I love these! I’m definitely in the market for stamps too, with wedding stationeries to mail out. Perfect find! XOXOX, Jane

AH! love her!
First, of all, loved the King and Queen stamps we’ve been using for a while and Chris and i just got really excited about the new “Cowboys of the Silver Screen” stamps we got! haha.
Kindred nerd spirits!
Did not know this!! Amazing! I will be waiting in line to pick some up myself! So glad that despite email and all things technical we still have stamps and regular mail in our society! May it never go away!
I saw these on a sign at the Post Office for May releases and broke out in a huge smile. I can’t wait! I think I’ll rewatch some of her sassiest moments in The Philadelphia Story and Bringing Up Baby until I can get my hands on the actual stamps.

EEEKKK! I can’t wait to get them either. I LOVE fun stamps. She is fantastic, I just adore her. Such a no nonsense kind of woman.
I had no idea about them! Thanks for the tip. ;)
Just added to my “self-spoiling” list. They will look ever so perfect framed and on my shelf. PS I’m currently watching Holiday. Hepburn + Grant = perfection.

Elizabeth — John will love the cowboy stamps! He collected stamps when he was a kid (super nerd) and it’s actually the coolest thing ever. We have more than I know what to do with–they’re probably worth something, haha. xoxo

She was quite a woman! I loved her film A Lion In Winter. Definitely a woman to emulate. A for the Cowboys of the silver screen stamps I must find those for my dad!

I had no idea about this, so excited!! I am such a Katherine Hepburn nerd, if any of her films happen to be on tv you can forget plans because I’ll be sitting down to watch it. Can’t help it. I was so born in the wrong time period.
She’s so gorgeous.
I am so getting these stamps. Have you read her biography, “Kate, Remembered”? It’s fab.
Katherine Hepburn was one of the most brilliant actresses around — there’s nothing nerdy about wanting to start a stamp collection now.
