Someday, when I no longer have a conscience, I’m going to treat myself to one of these $530 Hermes beach towels because I absolutely adore elephants. Do you think their terry cloth is woven with gold thread? One wonders… If only they weren’t so darn cute.

I can imagine laying on these would be a lot like laying on really nice bed sheets.
They are SO cute. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see them on bluefly at the end of the season. Seems there are always a random few towels or napkins :) Marija
Kirby — Good point! One doesn’t bat an eye when splurging on sheets… XO
Oh Marija! You are so full of good tips. Bluefly it is—conscience intact. XO
I don’t blame you! Those are adorable!
love love love. it’s certainly way too much for a towel, but maybe it’s like nice underwear… freakishly expensive and seemingly silly, but you feel so good when you’ve got it on!
Erin — Good analogy! I would feel pretty fantastic basking on one of these poolside…sigh.
So funny–I just posted something really similar to this! Someday….
Those are gorgeous..I love the purple one…!! someday, indeed! xxoo :)
These are so cute! I can’t even imagine spending 350 dollars on a beach towel it is just unimaginable to me!
OMG I adore these towels! $500 is pretty steep though. Not sure I could justify it.
We must be thinking along the same lines…I just was talking about how I’m obsessed with Hermes boxes!! So you can have the adorable towels…if you give me the box :)!
These are indeed very beautiful! But $500 on a beach towel?! wow.
holy CR$%$!!! i am gonna try and will them my way..the $500 makes it that much more covetted! i wish i could price like hermes and get away with it..
Beautiful! I want a great big cute beach towel. But they are not cheap! This one in particular!
Cheers,
Alaina
Ugh. They’re really freakin expensive.
But I will say, my friend’s mother bought these, and they’re the fluffiest, coziest towels I’ve EVER used.
I wouldn’t pay $500, but I’d gladly accept one as a gift!
Kate — Will your friend’s mother please adopt me? That’d be swell. XO Katie

That is so funny! Just this past weekend I swear I was telling Eric that someday I want the Hermes “H” throw blanket. But hello! It costs $2,500! Love these towels too. Ugh, someday I suppose:)
