Thought you all might appreciate a sneak peek of the stunning April Elle Decor cover—is it not gorgeous? I’m drooling over the colors in that rug, the orange striped cushion, and the three stacked paintings on the back wall. Swoon! The issue will feature Oscar de la Renta’s new line of fabrics, the 12 things Nate Berkus “can’t live without” and a tour of the Buenos Aires abode of polo player Nacho Figueras. If his home is half as handsome as he is we’re in for a treat! The issue hits newstands on March 16th—I can’t wait!

Can’t wait to see what Elle says about Brussels… my former hometown! With the pairing down of shelter magazines, every time we get a new issue, it’s like Christmas!

YIkes! My post on the new issue is scheduled for tomorrow and I don’t have time to do a new one. (written already, cause I have a busy day today) Maybe we need to coordinate?! Didn’t want you to think I was a copy cat. Lynn
PS. I do SAY a few different things at least…..
the NEO-traditionalist says
Lynn — Don’t be silly, no one would ever mistake you for a copy cat! We can’t help that we love the same things!!! You must post it too—besides, I’m sure people will have missed it here and be delighted to see it on Decor Arts Now! XOXO

The magazine kiosk is so sad and pathetic these days, there are only a few sole survivors – I need to get my hands on that Elle Decor! Looks so delightful.

I picked up the issue on the newsstand Friday and I can attest that it’s fabulous! I will cry if Elle Decor ever folds!
the NEO-traditionalist says
Heather — Don’t even think it! If it folded I would die. It can’t. It won’t. XO
Decor Arts Now says
Heather and Katie, No kidding guys. Positively Dreadful.
Why is that the International magazines are going strong? And I have found that they put so much content online. Take U.K.’s LIving Etc. for example. The new issue is almost always online, yet I of course spend almost $10 to buy hard copy whenever I can find it.
Wish I knew the answer to that one.
Lynn
PS: I hate the Glamour magazine that I can’t seem to stop receiving that comes in lieu of Domino. I will probably get it till I die, because I had subscribed to Domino in perpetuity.
