We were on a bit of an Wes Anderson kick this weekend (hence today’s quote). After The Squid and the Whale we popped in The Royal Tenenbaums, such a classic! The Tenenbaum home is one of my all-time favorite interiors with its hot pink walls and zebra print wallpaper…bizarrely magnificent! I especially love the wall collage of framed Margot paintings. Gathered here are a few quirky Etsy items I found celebrating the film. Below, paintings by AlmostFamous and above, finger puppets by AbbeyChristine. I’m kind of in love with the finger puppets.

haha touche, touche. Did you see The Aquatic Life of Steve Zissou? I normally do love Wes Anderson (must put The Squid and the Whale on the list to see), but I really really disliked The Aquatic Life. Like, I contemplated leaving the theater when I saw it.

Really? I didn’t think Life Aquatic was so bad, though certainly not his best. Tenenbaums has to be my favorite. I may have to re-watch Rushmore this weekend, haven’t seen it since it came out!
