If I were a detective (or I just wanted a very chic, sophisticated display on my desk) I’d buy some of these gorgeous antique magnifying glasses from English Country Antiques. Just look at the details on the handles! I adore the tortoiseshell on the upper right and the bone on the left…how does one choose?
