The New York Times went shopping with India Hicks and she sure made some lovely finds! I don’t know about you, but I would kill for the barnacle encrusted mirror above—-so beachy and organic, yet so chic. India is the daughter of famed decorator David Hicks and has grown-up to become a prominent beach-chic decorator known for her “Island Life” (she published a fantastic book of this name, check it out HERE). Hicks lives the dream, residing in the Bahamas with her partner, David Flint Wood, and their children where they spend their days on the sand. Below is a teaser of India’s shopping finds. I want the yellow leather pouf! I’m also in love with the red coral pillowcases. Sigh. You should see my room now though – I got a new chair, bedside table, and a hanging lamp! I think you’d be proud.
