Decorator Jeffery Bilhuber’s 17th-century Long Island abode is featured in August’s Vogue and every square inch is granny chic. Charmingly named Hay Fever, the property was purchased by Bilhuber as country house for himself and his little boy, Christoph. The home was a disaster upon purchase, but Bilhuber and his architect skillfully completed a renovation that remained true to the home’s architectural bones. The colors are what sold me—apple green walls, dashes of Prussian blue and purple, mint blue kitchen cabinets! To read Hamish Bowles’ full article on Hay Fever visit Vogue’s website here.
