I have what some might consider an unhealthy obsession with J.Crew’s creative director Jenna Lyons so when I spotted her profiled in Town & Country magazine’s “Fashion & Style” section this evening I was, to put it mildly, ecstatic. Her outfit is impeccable (tailored blazer juxtaposed by a feather skirt, but of course…) and her answers are as always poignant, classic and astoundingly down to earth. Of course they shot the article in the newest J.Crew boutique on 79th and Madison which was decorated by Ms. Lyons herself and is positively smashing (charcoal grey walls, flea market-esque oil paintings, sleek mid-century furniture, antique rugs faded just enough to make feel them more hip than stuffy…). As far as I’m concerned, this woman can do no wrong.
