Today I’m crushing on the dreamy bedroom above designed by interior designer Ariel Okin. Inspired by the English countryside, the bedroom was part of the Holiday House on New York’s Upper East Side. The showhouse featured rooms decorated by over twenty interior designers and tickets benefitted breast cancer research (love creatives coming together for a good cause). Ariel’s gorgeous bedroom boasted custom wallpaper designed by De Gournay. Below, explore more of the inspiring space.
I love the modern lines of the nightstand and brass sconce against the backdrop of feminine wallpaper.
What I wouldn’t give to curl up here each night!
The fabulous canopy bed is by CB2. Its industrial design pops surrounded by floral De Gournay.
The designer strikes a pose in her space. Loving the lucite bench–not your typical vanity stool.
Atop the desk sits a gorgeous velvet jewelry box by Aerin and the prettiest pink Murano glass and pitcher.
A tall boxwood topiary adds interest and height to the corner.
Colefax & Fowler, the perfect book for an English rose.
A book on Mario Buatta (one of my favorites) perched on the second nightstand.
The floral bedroom connects to an elegant bathroom with a similar color palette.
A geometric wallpaper in the bathroom. I love the modern brass light switch and the marble tiered vanity.
