I was saddened to learn that famed costume jeweler, Kenneth Jay Lane, had passed away this summer. I’ve always admired the designer’s joie de vivre and years ago, was fortunate enough to see him interviewed by his stylish friend Judith Price at the 92nd Street Y. From Jacqueline Kennedy to Princess Diana, Lane’s affordable and chic designs have been worn by countless influential women around the globe. I’ll treasure my signed copy of his book for years to come. Below, explore images of Kenneth’s handsome New York apartment (I’m obsessed with his collection of Orientalist paintings) and some of my all-time favorite Kenneth Jay Lane jewelry designs.
