Fashion designer Jenni Kayne’s Los Angeles home has been published far and wide, but these shots by C Magazine didn’t cross my path until today. I’m trying to adopt a “less is more” mantra for 2015 (time to declutter!) and Kayne’s neutral palette is right up my alley. I love the interior’s subtle textures and clean lines. British fashion icon Vivienne Westwood once quipped, “Buy less, choose well” and I hope to remember her sage advice while editing down my home and wardrobe this year. Is there anything better than a fresh start? Out with the old, in with the new. Speaking of which, lots of exciting updates to come…stay tuned, I can’t wait to share! Happy New Year!

This place is just wonderful. I love everything about it. I am joining in the de-clutter brigade for 2015. I found this inspiration that you remove at least 5 items a day for 3 days a week. It can be as small as an unused servicing spoon to a lamp. Doesn’t matter…Next Monday I am off to Goodwill with a nice bundle for their shoppers.

Everything in the world of Jenni Kayne is so beautiful! I love her varied use of sheepskins throughout the house, whether they’re used as rugs next to the foot of a bed or lying on a chair in the living room.
