I always love seeing new peeks of artist Luke Edward Hall’s pink London home (remember this dreamy story?). GQ recently featured the young wunderkind and the photos reveal further details of his vibrant oasis. Luke shares the apartment (or as the Brits say, “flat”) with his partner, Duncan Campbell of Campbell-Rey, and together they’ve created a maximalist’s paradise. The creative duo recently repainted their green living room walls to a cheerful millennial pink. I especially love the bar setup in the dining room area complete with silver palm tree candlesticks, a turquoise hobnail pitcher, and a silver pineapple ice bucket. The bathroom makes a statement as well, featuring a fantastic floral wallpaper by Trustworth Studios and a classic claw foot tub. Luke and Duncan’s bedroom, which was recently had a makeover, features a green marbled wallpaper, leopard print carpet, and a pink scalloped mirror (at the top of my personal wish list!). Known for being a jack-of-all-artistic-trades, Luke’s whimsical drawings and paintings can be found throughout the flat from the bedroom’s lampshades to the dinner plates. I wish I had the courage of my convictions to be as bold with colours as Luke is! His flat is so gorgeous and I can only take solace in the fact that I managed to snap up one of his lovely prints (I think the original appears in some of those GQ pics) from his website before it sold out. That was about two years ago when I discovered his work through your blog. Thanks for all the fabulous inspiration Katie!
