A House by the Sea: I treasure all my Bunny Williams books and can’t wait to add this upcoming title by the celebrated interior designer to my shelf. Written with renowned architect Gil Schafer, the book reveals Bunny’s stunning Caribbean retreat. If the pages are half as dreamy as the cover above, I’m sold.
Beautiful: All-American Decorating and Timeless Style: Los Angeles-based interior designer Mark D. Sikes has impeccable taste and his upcoming book is bound to delight design aficionados everywhere. I look forward to pouring over pages of his classic, California style.
The Lucky Plucky Chairs: If you love chairs (check!) and Maira Kalman (check!) then you’ll adore this upcoming release by design entrepreneur and author Rolf Fehlbaum. Kalman illustrates the fun fictional tale that also includes a glossary of 22 of design history’s most iconic chairs.
Louise Dahl-Wolfe: I’ve long admired the fashion photographs of Louise Dahl-Wolfe and this new book of her work is at the very tip-top of my wish list. During her two decades at Harper’s Bazaar the talented photographer often collaborated with another neo-trad icon, Diana Vreeland. I can’t wait to get my hands on a copy!
