My fiancé and I are staying in Chicago for Thanksgiving this year and we’re looking forward to a cozy dinner at home. I’m not much of a chef (understatement of the year…), but am determined to master a few tasty dishes and, of course, decorate. When Pottery Barn offered to help me design our holiday table, I jumped at the chance. First, I enlisted a local florist to create a gorgeous fall centerpiece, and then set about choosing pieces that felt seasonal yet chic. My favorite items have to be the bar cart (we had no trouble filling it!) and the tortoiseshell glassware (just ordered more, currently on sale!). I’m not one for kitschy holiday decor and was so pleased to create a table that felt autumnal without screaming “Turkey Day.” Check out more holiday tips over at Pottery Barn and enjoy your own table-setting adventures!
