The John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum Store has a treasure trove of fun Jackie memorabilia for sale including these two charming posters. The top reminds me of paper doll attire (for a stylish nursery perhaps?) and I just love the apricot dress she wore in India at bottom. If only my wardrobe were half as chic!

I have the coffee table book of this exhibition — such eye candy! Jackie is a testimony that the most elegant wardrobe is simple and classic.

I love these! I saw this exhibit in Chicago when it was at the Field Museum – it was every bit as smart as these posters would suggest. I think I’d like the top one hanging from my closet wall, a little something to aspire to! XO

Whenever I’m struggling with what to wear, I pull out my Jackie dresses-single color, tailored and classic.

Hi Katie-
I love that era in fashion history. Most of her White House clothing was desinged by Oldg Cassini, but Jackie and her sister drew images for him taken from Givenchy clothes. Just a fun tidbit I picked up from reading the book. I went to the Met Exhibit of her stuff and bought the book and calendar. I cut out the clothes photos from the calendar and made magnets and other things out of the images. They make me smile – so do your posts!
